Promotion can be done in many ways. It could be more effective as low cost when it is done through online. It could be most effective that you can’t’ imagine when you done it through Facebook. I tried so far & trying my best to get huge traffic for my website. Here I discovered 12 Tips for you when using Facebook promoted posts

Do you concern about Facebook Promoted Posts? Do you know the actual way of using Facebook Promoted Posts?

This feature officially rolled out by Facebook in end of the month of May.
Most of the people got surprised what field of area, when & how  this new advertising option fits into their marketing mix or if it even fits at all advertisers or marketers.

What are Promoted Posts?

Facebook  has enabled you’re like page’s individual post to be seen of your fans’ news feed .You may noticed the new metric Facebook has on the bottom of every post showing how many people it reached/ how many people seen your individual post.

Why you like page’s individual Posts to be seen by Your Community/Fans?

Facebook has been trying to update people with the new information that you posted in your like pages. “Nothing is going new here, it just being updated through latest information”- it’s my point of view.

Facebook posts are seen by a portion of your audience because people may not available on Facebook at the time of your post or they may have a lot of friends and like pages, which results in too much news feed activity for them to show your post in their news feed.

Edge Rank is Facebook’s news feed algorithm for determining what is shown to people based on user activity, affinity and exact time to show the post. Promoted Posts are a way “to feed posts more prominently into people’s news feeds”.

You also can find this topic in Facebook’s Help section where you can learn more about Promoted Posts.

Now I identified here are 12 things you should keep in mind about Promoted Posts:

# 1: Facebook Promoted Posts are only available to those pages with more than 500 Likes. It’s not accessible not for all countries yet—they are still rolling out.

# 2: You can run a Promoted Post on posts that are 3 days old and that post will be pushed into the news feeds of fans for 3 days following the start of the post campaign.

To start the campaign, simply click the Promote button on the lower right side of the post.
# 3: Once your Promoted Post is continuing, you can stop the promotion by clicking on the Promote button if your post not reached well to your audience, and then click the wheel to change your budget to get more reach of your post.

# 4: You can see a Sponsor Tag bellow your post.

# 5: You can see the performance data (how many people see your post) of the Promoted Post while it is still running and after the campaign.

# 6: You can also see details statistics in your Ads Reports area. For more information, you can go to Facebook Campaigns and click Reports on the right sidebar of Facebook. Select Advertising Performance as the Report Type, Summarize and Filter by Campaign, and then select Promoted Posts, then Summarize By the dates/time period you want to see, and then select Generate Report. You’ll then see a more detailed data to show you exactly how much each click cost and how many actions (share, likes or comments) were taken by the audience. You can then get a real picture of your promotion which helps you to decide to run next the other types of Facebook Ads you want to running.

# 7: Change & edit related name, each of your Promoted Post campaigns to be more meaningful to audience by clicking on the campaign name. Go to Facebook Campaigns and click the pencil icon next to the campaign name. Then you can rename it to something more meaningful such as “Promoted Offer, stock limited as an example.

# 8: Use Facebook Promoted Posts to increase audience engagement of any specific ads that you are going to run. One of the main reasons I see about Promoted Posts as it is a good option in your marketing mix to give huge audience engagement, which can boost as well as to reconnect with fans that haven’t seen your posts in a while you posted your articles. Clicks, Likes, Comments and shares can get your posts back into the news feeds of those fans that were missing your posts. But if you are normally getting 35% to 45% reach naturally with each post, then I don’t see any reasons to use Promoted Posts. You’re already doing a good job getting into your fans’ news feeds. But if your reach is below 15%, you need to run Promoted post to make your page more effective.

# 9: Choose the right words on your post to promote. I noticed a “sales y to get another free” post and a more “fun” post and the fun Promoted Post got over twice as many clicks for two-thirds the cost. Not surprising that a fun post is going to get more engagement, it’s real. Most of the people need something funny to get pleasure. If you need to increase audience engagement to your page, push something funny into the news feed.

# 10: Promote your Facebook Offers sometimes as free or discounts. Free stuff and discounts are always got an attraction to audience & can take big hit on Facebook. Take advantage of this two new features of Facebook by promoting your Facebook Offer. While you are always remember, push your news to the top of your news feed.

# 11: Make an access of your news that use Facebook on mobile phone. Regular Facebook Ads and Sponsored Stories appear on the right sidebar of Facebook. These are not visible in the mobile app, but with Promoted Posts you are now able to reach mobile users.

# 12: Make sure you expected result & actual result. I would recommend  you to test  your results between a Sponsored Page Post Ad sent out to only your fans and a Promoted Post to see which one gets better results for you Facebook’s Promoted Posts are another way to connect with your fans. I think they make a chance to give your engagement a boost or to promote something fun like an offer. But there may be better ways to spend $10.

It’s extra:

# If you guys want to more visibility beside the Facebook promoted post, You can like others like pages & then post their own wall those who have more than 1000 likes to increase your post visibility.
